Our History
We started CanDance Studio Mission with a simple mission: to provide a space where every child, regardless of age or background, can find their rhythm. Our journey began in the heart of the Mission district, driven by a passion for movement and a belief that dance is more than just a performance—it's a way of life.

Our New Journey
CanDance is becoming Height Dance Centre — HDC!

This new name represents where we are headed while still honouring the studio, dancers, families, and community that have brought us to this point.
The name Height represents growth, progress, and reaching new goals. It reflects the journey of our dancers, the continued growth of our studio, and our home here in Mission — surrounded by mountains and opportunities to reach higher.

While our name is changing, the heart of our studio is not. Our commitment remains the same: providing positive, supportive, and high-quality dance training where dancers can grow not only as performers, but as people.

You will begin to see the Height Dance Centre and HDC names introduced throughout the studio, our communications, competitions, and online platforms as we make the transition.
We are so excited to begin this next chapter together and can't wait to see how high our dancers will go!
